超音波在臨床的運用日益重要，急診重點式超音波(Point of care ultrasound)於美國發展與數十年之久，超音波訓練教育與研究也領先於世界。Dr. YIJU TERESA LIU目前於UCLA, Harbor Medical center急診部服務，為超音波計畫主持人及急診學教授。其於2021-2022年為美國急診學會(AEM, Academic Emergency Medicine)超音波委員會主任委員，領導全美國急診超音波委員會的所有業務。劉醫師同時也是全美急診醫師超音波比賽SONOGAME歷屆主辦醫師之一，更是創始初期的籌辦規劃教師。而另一位教授，Dr. Kabir Yadav為UCLA, Harbor Medical center急診部學術副主任，Yadav教授擅長將急診臨床工作的問題，透過嚴謹的研究方式來做解決。其學術成果豐碩，如New England Journal of Medicine、JAMA、Critical care medicine、Resuscitation、Annals of Emergency Medicine、Academic Emergency Medicine皆刊登Yadav的研究成果。
2023年，美國急診醫學會頒布了最新的POCUS指引，其中甚至包含了神經阻斷術(nerve block)、及經食道超音波(TEE)在急診的應用。急診部很榮幸邀請到兩位Harbor-UCLA教授與大家分享美國經驗談，並且邀請國內相關議題的講師群，與大家一起交流國內外經驗，研討POCUS的現在與未來，歡迎大家一起來參加這場精彩的演講。

劉醫師為台裔美籍醫師，自小便致美國就學，目前於UCLA, Harbor Medical center急診部服務，為超音波計畫主持人及急診學副教授。其於2021-2022年為美國急診學會(AEM, Academic Emergency Medicine)超音波委員會主任委員，領導全美國急診超音波委員會的所有業務。劉醫師同時也是全美急診醫師超音波比賽SONOGAME歷屆主辦醫師之一，更是創始初期的籌辦規劃教師。曾為美國急診超音波Fellowship認證委員會草創委員的劉醫師，對於急診超音波Fellowship的教育與評估也是非常專精。
Yiju Teresa Liu, MD FACEP
Dr. Liu is an Emergency physician in the Emergency Department at UCLA Harbor Medical Center. She is a professor of Emergency Medicine at UCLA, and meanwhile, she heads the UCLA-Affiliated Clinical Ultrasound Fellowship. In the span of 2021-2022, Dr. Liu chaired the Academy of Emergency Ultrasound (AEUS), overseeing all activities and operations of the national emergency ultrasound committee. Furthermore, she’s one of the key organizers of the nationwide Emergency Physician Ultrasound Competition, SONOGAME, and played a pivotal role as a foundational faculty member. Additionally, Dr. Liu served as the inaugural Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Accreditation Council (EUFAC) councilor for the past 3 years and is well-versed in the new board certification and ultrasound fellowship accreditation.
林韋均醫師，現擔任台灣急診醫學會的超音波主委，是該領域的重要領袖人物。他在中國醫藥大學完成了學士學位和急診專科訓練，並為該醫院深耕多年。除了在急診部成功建置先進的超音波設備和影像傳輸系統，林醫師亦是超音波訓練中心主任，教育醫學系學生超音波相關知識。
林醫師在急重症超音波的研究和教學上有著卓越的成就。他不僅多次受邀至國內外知名的超音波研討會分享專業見解，還曾策劃並主持了數場基礎至進階的超音波課程，和多場大型超音波競賽，對培養後進有著深遠的影響。他持續熱心於推進急重症超音波的臨床應用與學術教學，為該領域做出了卓越的貢獻。
Dr. Wei-Jun Lin is the current President of the Emergency Ultrasound Committee at the Taiwan Society of Emergency Medicine. After graduating from China Medical University, Dr. Lin completed his emergency medicine specialty training in the Emergency Department at the same institution, where he has served for many years. He has been instrumental in setting up ultrasound equipment and an image transmission system in the emergency department. Dr. Lin also serves as the director of the Ultrasound Training Center, where he educates medical students on ultrasound-related knowledge. His expertise lies in critical care ultrasound research and teaching. He has frequently attended ultrasound seminars both domestically and internationally, organized numerous basic and advanced ultrasound courses, and hosted the POCUS GAME. Dr. Lin is passionately committed to promoting the application and teaching of critical care ultrasound.

陳國智醫師是雙和醫院急診部的傑出主治醫師。他畢業於台北醫學大學醫學系，並在知名的新光醫院急診科接受住院醫師訓練。當台灣的急診醫學界初探POCUS學門時，陳國智醫師已站在最前線，成為全國首批踏入此領域的急診醫師。他不僅專精於POCUS教育，更是培養了大量POCUS專家和醫師的重要導師。只要學習過POCUS的醫師，就算你不認識陳國智醫師，但一定也看過陳醫師的FOAM-POCUSacademy。陳醫師也是名國際POCUS講師，也會到香港、馬來西亞、新加坡、南韓、印尼及泰國等國家教學POCUS，同時陳醫師也是WINFOUCS的台灣主責委員。
現今，陳國智醫師持續深化急重症POCUS的多方應用。他不僅在急診中專精Nerve block，更是疼痛醫學會的定期講師，致力於傳授此技術給台灣各專科的醫師。除此之外，陳醫師在急診中也獨立完成Liver abscess drainage和psoas muscle abscess drainage等先進的POCUS侵入性治療，並將這些經驗融入教學，啟發後進醫師，使他們能夠熟練執行這些高階的POCUS Procedures。
Dr. Kuo-Chih Chen is a senior attending physician in the Emergency Department of Shuang Ho Hospital. He graduated from the Taipei Medical University College of Medicine and completed his residency training in the Emergency Department of Shin Kong Hospital. With the development of POCUS in Taiwan, Dr. Chen stood at the forefront, becoming one of the first emergency physicians in the country to delve into this domain. He is not only proficient in POCUS education but also serves as a pivotal mentor, having nurtured numerous POCUS experts and physicians. POCUSacademy is an essential FOAM for every physician learning POCUS, and Dr. Chen is its Editor-in-chief and Founder. Moreover, Dr. Chen is a renowned international POCUS speaker, teaching in countries such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, Indonesia, and Thailand. He also serves as the principal director of WINFOUCS in Taiwan.
朱聖恩醫師是亞東醫院急診部的主治醫師。他自高雄醫學大學醫學系畢業後，於林口長庚醫院急診部完成急診專科醫師訓練。目前正在陽明大學急重症醫學研究所攻讀博士學位。
朱醫師不僅是醫用超音波醫學會的指導醫師，更是WINFOCUS超音波的指導員。他在復甦醫學領域具有深入的專精，特別是對Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) 的研究有著突出的成就。在亞東醫院，他與團隊成功建立了一套完整的TEE教育訓練與研究組織。朱醫師的學術貢獻相當耀眼，其多項與TEE相關的研究接刊登在Resuscitation和Annals of Emergency Medicine等知名學術期刊，顯示其在醫學研究領域的卓越成就。
Dr. Sheng-En Chu is an attending physician in the Emergency Department of Far Eastern Memorial Hospital. After graduating from the College of Medicine at Kaohsiung Medical University, he completed his emergency medicine specialist training in the Emergency Department at Linkou Chang Gung Hospital. He is currently pursuing his PhD program at the Graduate Institute of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine at Yang-Ming University.
Dr. Chu is not only an Instructor for the Taiwan Society of Ultrasound in Medicine but also a WINFOCUS Instructor. He possesses profound expertise in the field of resuscitation medicine, with distinguished accomplishments in research related to Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). At Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, he and his team successfully established a comprehensive TEE educational training and research organization. Dr. Chu's academic contributions are impressive; many of his TEE-related studies have been published in prestigious academic journals such as Resuscitation and Annals of Emergency Medicine, showcasing his outstanding achievements in the realm of medical research.

Dr. Kabir Yadav serves as the Vice Chair for Research & Academic Affairs at Harbor-UCLA, and Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at UCLA. After EM training at Kings County Hospital Center, he pursued a clinical research fellowship at Jacobi Medical Center, earning a Masters in Clinical Research Methods. After receiving an NIH KL2 Award and a Masters in Translational Science at GW, he established himself among the nation's pioneering clinical informaticists. As core faculty at UCLA Clinical and Translational Science Institute, he champions both Community Engaged Research and Biomedical Informatics. Supported by NIH, CDC, PCORI, and foundation grants, his collaborative research aims to improve decision-making in health, with a focus on social determinants of health and patient-benefit clinical trials. Professor Yadav has an impressive academic record, with many of his research papers published in top-tier journals such as New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, Critical Care Medicine, Resuscitation, Annals of Emergency Medicine, and Academic Emergency Medicine. His research expertise lies in the areas of "Emergency Medicine," Clinical Informatics,” and "Implementation Science.”
連琬菁教授是臺大醫院急診醫學部一般急診科主任，同時也是台大醫學院臨床教授。連教授自台大醫學系畢業，於台大醫院接受急診醫學專科訓練，並於主治醫師期間完成台大公衛學院博士班學位。連教授為台灣急診醫學會及中華民國超音波醫學會超音波指導老師，曾任台灣急診醫學會超音波委員會主委，目前是中華民國超音波醫學會的理事。其學術計畫非常多，包含超音波臨床應用、超音波教育、以及超音波人工智慧判讀等等。研究成果亦豐碩，許多研究皆刊登於頂尖期刊，如Resuscitation及Annals of Emergency Medicine等。連教授的研究領域專精於「急診醫學」、「急重症超音波學」和「流行病學」。
Professor Wan-Ching Lien is the head of the General Emergency Medicine Division at the National Taiwan University Hospital and also serves as a Clinical Professor at the National Taiwan University College of Medicine. Prof. Lien graduated from the College of Medicine at National Taiwan University, underwent specialist training in emergency medicine at the same hospital, and completed her PhD program at the School of Public Health at National Taiwan University. Prof. Lien is the senior ultrasound instructor. She previously chaired the Ultrasound Committee of the Emergency Medicine Association and is the currently director of the Taiwan Society of Ultrasound in Medicine. Prof. LIEN has spearheaded many research projects focused on ultrasound research and medical education. She has also played a pivotal role in the advancement of Artificial Intelligence in POCUS Image Interpretation Systems. Furthermore, she has a myriad of publications in esteemed journals such as Resuscitation and Annals of Emergency Medicine.

Wan-Ching Lien, MD, PhD
周樹榮醫師，是大林慈濟醫院急診部的主治醫師。他自陽明醫學大學醫學系畢業，於大林慈濟醫院急診部接受急診專科醫師訓練。
周醫師為大林慈濟醫院超音波計畫的主持人。從2016年起，他在大林慈濟醫院急診部首創神經阻斷術於急性疼痛病人的治療方法，並成功建立了完整的行政管理、醫療流程及相關研究的系統化資料表單。在學術研究方面，他已有兩篇關於急診中神經阻斷術應用的論文被國際學術期刊所刊登，更有數篇超音波相關的學術著作於Annals of Emergency Medicine等知名期刊發表。周醫師也是大林慈濟教學部的專責醫師，對於全院的超音波教學已有數年豐富經驗，擔任慈濟大學講師的周醫師對於醫學生的教育也非常熟悉。

Su Weng Chau, M.D
Dr. Su Weng Chau is an attending physician in the Emergency Department of Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital. He graduated from the College of Medicine at Yang Ming University and underwent emergency medicine specialist training in the Emergency Department of Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital.
Dr. Chau serves as the Ultrasound Program Director in the Emergency Department of Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital. Since 2016, he pioneered the application of nerve block techniques for acute pain patients in the Emergency Department of Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital. He successfully established comprehensive administrative management, medical procedures, and systematic documentation for related research. Academically, he has two studies regarding the application of nerve block procedures in emergency department published in international academic journals. Additionally, he has several ultrasound-related scholarly articles published in renowned journals such as Annals of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Chau also holds the position of Responsible Attending Physician in the Department of Medical Education in Dalin Tzu Chi Hospital. With years of extensive experience in hospital-wide ultrasound instruction and serving as a lecturer at Tzu Chi University, Dr. Chau is well-versed in educating medical students.
